Dylan Wassell is an urban and architectural designer who earned a professional architecture degree from the University of Miami. During his ensuing tenure at DPZ Codesign, he pursued his talents in planning, design, and placemaking. Dylan regularly acted as the assistant to Andrés Duany, designing a variety of project types, including new community plans, downtown revitalization, urban infill, tactical urbanism, and housing typologies.
Having collaborated on 50 public and private charrettes, Dylan has overseen logistics, design work, client and public relations for such projects around the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines. He is experienced in the coordination of final report documents for charrettes and in the writing of form-based codes in cities including Miami Florida, Orlando Florida, Mobile Alabama, and Charleston South Carolina.
Dylan’s experience regularly informs to his work at Beinfield Architecture where he oversees multi-family and commercial developments from conceptual design through to construction administration. Regarding public outreach, he is participating in the multiple workshops of Coliseum Master Plan public engagement and design process. Dylan manages several multi-phase projects including the Corbin District development, where he coordinates construction of the earliest phase while developing the design of the later phases within the framework of the zoning sub-district.
